     Although Weight Watchers is our #1 pick, the online option doesn't hold its weight primarily because of some key offerings that it lacks. Despite the lack-luster of the full-fledged Weight Watchers program, it is still a good value for the cost of the program. Weight Watchers online focus's primarily on only three of the four key ideas that are offered in the traditional Weight watchers Packages. This includes:

  1. Behavior (Healthy habits)
  2. Food (Smart Food Choices)
  3. Exercise (this doesn't mean a strenuous workout...but exercise is necessary)
  4. Support: you are encouraged online but not in live/in-person groups
Plan types: Just like the traditional plan, W.W.O. (Weight Watchers Online) also focuses on the two primary plan types
  1. Flex Plan:
       This plan focuses on a point system where you monitor the point value of meals and structure your eating habits to make sure you maintain the proper point range for your individual diet
    This is similar to watching calories.
  2. Core Plan:
       This plan focuses on eating good and healthy food. It does not track the point values of food.
Features:

Dynamite Support group: Only online groups are available. Although this is better than some diets, at Diet-Today we feel that in-person live support groups will provide the most beneficial results in dieting.
Online Tools: Available to help you track your success. This is where most of your money is spent, but it is worth it.
Restaurant Guidelines: Just like the traditional plan, Weight Wathers Online offers detailed information on restaurants that you can comfortably socialize and feel 'safe' with your diet.

Cost: $19.45/mo or ≈$4.49/wk

A much lower cost solution to losing weight. Although it doesn't offer the same amenities that the traditional Weight Watchers Plan offers, it is a good competitive for other diet plans available today.

Our Conclusion: A much lower cost solution to losing weight. Weight Watchers has been around for a long time. The general population has a common misconception that it is a diet plan that might work, but is too expensive. Let us as you, if $4.49/wk (or $9.00/wk for the traditional plan) is too expensive for a diet that is virtually guaranteed to help you lose weight, teach you how to keep it off, and provide all the tools you need to do it? We, at Diet-Today think it is a sound investment in health.
